Secondary Credits

Our Secondary Credits program has, as its primary goal, the attainment of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

All courses offered under this program strongly promote the acquisition of essential skills and knowledge while allowing students to begin to focus on their areas of strength and interest and to explore various areas of study.

Youth Programs

Our Youth Programs offer a variety of summer camps suited for engaging and honing literacy and math skills through a variety of teaching techniques.

We also offer the International Languages Program that has provided elementary school children (JK to Grade 8) with an opportunity to experience the culture, traditions and language of other countries.

Academic Upgrading

Our Academic Upgrading program is a non-credit, part-time program for adults interested in developing and enhancing their employment potential, acquiring further training and education in specific areas, and building independent learning skills.  Individual programs are developed based on the student’s goals.  Small group settings provide for individual attention.

Language Programs

Thomas Merton’s Adult Language Programs for newcomers to Canada offers Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC), English as a Second Language (ESL) and French as a Second Language (FSL) out of three convenient locations in Halton region (Burlington, Milton and Oakville).
