Our New Logo

We are pleased to announce the launch of an updated crest for Thomas Merton Adult & Continuing Education that reflects the identity of our school in the Region of Halton!

Each pathway to success in education is unique and multi-dimensional. The updated logo encompasses the various pathways, failures and successes in the design of the ‘M’ in the logo. The M is drawn in upwards, downwards and diagonal motions, but is always moving forward.

The essence of the former logo remains with the use of the traditional purple, which represents ambition, dignity and independence. A calm blue and light grey have also been added as complementary colours.

Our Catholic faith has also been represented with an organic, ink-like cross, replacing the ‘T’ in Merton.

Thomas Merton is more than a physical space of learning, but rather a community driven to support the unique needs of our students and adult learners. For this reason, the word ‘centre’ has been left out of our updated logo.

As we start anew with a fresh logo and website design, we continue to foster excellence and achievement on all journeys to success at Thomas Merton.
