Each year, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) celebrates exceptional students across our school district at the Annual Student Awards of Excellence Ceremony. This year, due to COVID-19 precautions in place, we are recognizing and congratulating our student recipients virtually!
Congratulations to Natalie Campbell who won the Student Award of Excellence & Keshini Bulloram who won the Spirit of Inclusion Award for the Thomas Merton Centre of Continuing Education!
Natalie has achieved great academic success in a variety of subject areas while attending Thomas Merton as she prepares for a university pathway. Her ability to overcome a challenging journey has earned her the respect of the Thomas Merton staff and students.
Keshini is friendly to all, is always welcoming to staff and students and a joy to have in the Alternative Education program. Keshini has faced many challenges and has worked through these challenges while always managing to continue with a positive attitude. She is a dedicated student that happily participates in many after school activities such as: Girls Night In, French Club, Numeracy Club and Book Club. Keshini engages with all students and activities in a positive way. Her positive attitude and dedication are a few reasons why Keshini has made such huge growth. Keshini has goals to one day work with children.
