Canadian Employment Language Training (CELT)

The CELT courses are designed to introduce newcomers to Canada to different occupation areas. These courses, along with language training, provide students with a strong foundation in sector-specific knowledge. Upon completion of a course you will receive a Certificate of Completion, which may be used to support your job application. Courses will be available both on-line and in-classroom.

ONLINE CELT (in English):

Currently, we have 6 courses in English and 2 in French. These courses will take approximately four to six weeks to complete, if you were to dedicate about 6-8 hours of self-study per week.

  3. Introduction to Travel Industry Occupations
  4. Introduction to Food Services Occupations
  5. Introduction to Hairstylist Occupations
  6. Introduction to Automotive Occupations

On-Line SLT
(in French):

  1. Introduction à l’industrie du service client bilingue dans le domaine des ventes au Canada (Bilingual Client Service Representative)
  2. Cours de Conversation dans le domain de vente (Conversational French for the Service Industry)

IN-CLASS CELT (in English):

  1. Introduction to Starting a Small Business
  2. Introduction to Early Childhood Education Occupations
  3. Introduction to Basic Accounting Occupations
  4. Introduction to Office Administration
  5. Introduction Food Handler Certification
