International Credits

Secondary International Language Credit Courses are available at no cost to secondary school students.  Students can earn credits in International Language Programs towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

The study of international languages gives the students the opportunity to learn an additional language and to enrich their understanding of how languages work and to develop a sensitivity to other cultures.

We try our best to anticipate demand, however, we may need to change locations, cancel classes or limit enrolment. If this happens we will do our best to accommodate the people’s needs and you will be contacted.

At this time, the 2021-2022 International Languages Credit Courses program is being configured for a return to in-person/face-to-face learning for all classes. That is, all students registered for the 2021-2022 will be attending their classes in person at one of three physical locations listed on the course offerings.

PLEASE NOTE: In the event that the Halton Catholic District School Board determines, in consultation with the Halton Regional Public Health Department, determines that in-person/face-to-face instruction for the 2021-2022 International Languages Credit Courses is not appropriate, all classes will revert to remote learning in which courses will be delivered synchronously, asynchronously, or a combination of both contingent on the instructor conducting the class. Parents will be notified immediately of any changes relating to the status of these programs once these become available.
