Summer School

  • Secondary School Summer Credit Courses are offered to students currently in grades 9 – 12.
  • HCDSB students must register through myBlueprint.  All other (non-HCDSB) students must complete a registration form.
  • You will be contacted ONLY if your course is waitlisted or cancelled.

Currently, the 2021 Summer School has been configured for virtual learning for all courses that will be offered. Virtual courses will be conducted synchronously, asynchronously or a combination of both as determined by the teacher conducting the course. In the virtual configuration, there will be no bus transportation.

In the event that the Halton Catholic District School Board, in consultation with Halton Public Health, determines that in-person/face-to-face instruction for some of the courses being offered at the 2021 summer school is appropriate, further information regarding school bus transportation will be provided once it becomes available.

Credit Recovery

HCDSB students who have completed a high school course and received a failing grade may recover the course through the credit recovery process during summer school 2021. Students may only recover the credit of the actual course failed which limits them to the same type, grade and level.  Please contact your high school guidance counsellor for next steps.
